We’re a small nonprofit representing hospitals across the Miami Valley. We have only nine people on staff, and needless to say, none of them are web developers.
We last updated our site 5 years ago, and we knew that the world of the web had changed dramatically since then. We’d just done a rebranding, and we decided that now was the time to update our web presence. And we decided to do it in three months, so our site would be live at the same time the new administration came into the Ohio statehouse.
From the beginning, we knew we wanted something out of the box — not a “template” design. We talked to a number of interactive firms, but we were really drawn to Atomic. They came back to us with a great quote and a solid project plan that met all our goals and our very tight deadline.
“From start to finish, we found the entire Atomic staff incredibly responsive and dedicated.”
And they followed through. We love the new site. It has a clean, crisp design that lets our data and images —which are critical to our customers— take center stage. They also created a unified look for logos that link to four sub-websites that we own, each of which has its own branding.

Atomic also created new functionality for the site, like an interactive map of our locations and an events calendar that links to GDAHA’s shared Outlook calendars. We also have a more robust news section that allows us to post news from our member hospitals and automatically pulls in news from AHA and OHA, our sister organizations.
Our new CMS is also great. Because we have a small staff, having the ability to easily log in and make changes anytime we want is huge. It opens so many doors for us in being able to communicate critical legislative changes to our members in a timely fashion.
I would certainly recommend Atomic. From start to finish, we found the entire Atomic staff incredibly responsive and dedicated. Anytime we ran into an unexpected challenge, they were willing to do the legwork to figure out the best solution for us. I’d see emails come in from our project manager at 2:00 in the morning … he was just tireless!
We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
