Richard Kaiser, Atomic’s newest member

Greetings, earthlings. This is Richard Kaiser, Atomic’s newest team member. Starting this week, I’ll be responsible for helping Atomic with sales and marketing, getting the word out about our web design and interactive capabilities.
I feel like it’s a strange time to be entering the marketing world. Print, radio, and broadcast television are experiencing double-digit declines in revenue, which have dropped even further because of the recession.
Many companies have turned to online marketing, but selling “impressions” without showing a direct line to sales is no longer enough. Companies demand to see specific results from their marketing investment. They want to reach a targeted demographic, deliver a targeted call to action, and see demonstrable results, with detailed analytics to back it up.
I was hoping to find a marketing agency to work for who could provide this level of service – a company that was forward thinking but at the same time had a creative atmosphere.
From the first interview I fell in love with Atomic Interactive. Their track record of results, plus they’re a close, family-like work environment felt like a perfect match for me. Luckily, they felt the same way.
Now my job is to start learning about our customers, and working with my Atomic teammates to find new ways to help their businesses grow. I look forward to meeting customers and potential customers soon – whether its on Facebook or Twitter, or at good old-fashioned Ad Club and Generation Dayton meetings.
See you soon!
