dayton history

Client challenge.Dayton History’s mission is to “bring the past to life” by celebrating the Dayton region’s creative heritage. Its website, however, was a historical relic itself—outdated, difficult to update, and containing little of the valuable content that Dayton History wanted to share with the public. A local advertising agency called on Atomic to help.

what we did

Atomic solution.Atomic created a site design that links historic photographs with modern images . . . pumping life into the site and showing how fun sites like Carillon Park, Hawthorn Hill, and Patterson Homestead can be. In addition, Atomic created a Flash-based photo gallery that allows Dayton History to upload, label, and organize its entire photo archive. The result? A website that opens the wealth of Dayton’s creative history to its next generation of inventors.
